Instagram1_-2_grandeThe women of the Wayúu tribe have been hand weaving these bags for generations. Every single bag is different and unique, with intricate tribal designs and colors. Many of the designs that are woven into each bag represent the natural elements that surround the Wayúu, and what their culture revolves around, such as: animals, the sun, plants, stars. It takes these women 10-15 days to complete each bag; they are a labor of love.

One of our principal goal is to make our costumers relate with the story of each bag and the amazing traditions from the Wayúu tribe women who handcraft them.

Québec offers a very diversified society with many different cultures. Now with access to Internet everybody is woven together in this beautiful multicultural piece.  Women have always been really keen on exotic products found in other countries and always willing to bring back home some of these special findings.

The « Mochila » is also surfing on this new multicultural wave.  This traditional handbag called a « mochila » is entirely handmade by the women of the Wayúu tribes, from the desert of La Guajira, Colombia.  It takes up to three weeks and sometimes the work of the entire family in order to complete a single handbag.

The “Santanderianos”, from the city of Bucaramanga in Colombia are world renown for their exceptional leathers products handcrafting skills.  These unique skills are passed on from generation to generation.  All leathers come directly from the province of Santander in this beautiful mountain filled part of the country.  This guarantees that you are buying a 100% Colombian made product.

Our goal is to provide you with these beautiful products while contributing, in the fairest way, to the development of this country and particularly of these Colombian artists.
